Select pages from magazines with interesting colors, wrapping paper, scrapbook paper, etc.

Trace pattern pieces and cut out one top and one bottom for each butterfly. Coordinating colors look nice.

Folding wrong sides together, first fold each piece down the middle. For the square piece fold it in half like a diamond, corner to corner.

Working one side at a time, from the middle out, fold accordion style making small ¼ inch folds.

Placing the diamond piece on top, take a small piece of wire and one stamen piece. Wrap the two pieces together catching the stamen in the wire.

Open out your folds and your butterfly is complete.
