My Beautiful Balloon

For this project, we're going to make a little collage. Look in magazines and seed catalogs for beautiful images of roses.
Clip them into shapes following their natural outline.
Using a gluestick, secure the roses to a piece of paper in a rough balloon shape.
Use the template here to cut the collage into shape. Cut the basket shape from the printout while you're at it.
Tie three or more lengths of string along a single length of string as shown.
Secure the main string to the back of the balloon piece by gently tying and then adding a bit of tape.

Collect the ends of the strings that were tied to the main string and secure them to the underside of the basket.

Add a passenger, if you'd like! Weeeee! What fun!
