Jack O' Containers
This project uses a little paper pulp round box as the base for a sweet little Halloween container.
Begin by painting the top, bottom, and bottom edge of the box orange.
Sketch a face on the top...
And fill it in...Search online for vintage halloween decorations for ideas on how to make your face.
Cut a piece of paper 1" x 10" and glue to the bottom perimeter of the box. We'll leave the lip where the top fits empty so that the top still fits to the bottom.
To give your pumpkin head a little stem, begin by punching a hole in the side of the box.
Find this product in the floral section of your craft store...
Make a little curlyeque by wrapping the end of the stem around a pencil. Pull to extend the curleque. Put the other end through the hole in the box and bend to fit to the inside of the box. Use a bit of decorative tape to hold into place.
Tie a bit of green ribbon to the stem, and voila!
To glitter the top, paint a coat of glue to the top surface, shake on glitter and shake off excess. Allow to dry. Glue will dry clear and you'll be left with a sparkly pumpkin face.
This is darling!
