Candy Wreath

This makes a fun gift for a family. Choose candy that will look appealing. I looked for

candy without words on the wrapper for a clean look. For this larger wreath I used nearly 5 pounds of candy.

Begin by wrapping the styrofoam wreath form with crepe paper streamers. Secure the end of the streamer with a dot of glue.

Using hot glue, and being careful not to burn your fingers, work row by row adding
candy to the wreath form.

If your glue gun has a setting choice, use the low temperature setting. Otherwise, let the glue cool a little before adding the row of candies, gluing just one end of the candy wrapper. Hold them candies in place until the glue holds.

Continue with row after row until the wreath is full. If you've missed places, fill in the holes with the candy.

Remember to be careful with your fingers and keep a bowl of cool water nearby just in case (to dip your burned finger in!)
