Print out this template and this one of circles. Gather fabrics for the cupcake base (I used brown felt), and the frosting (I used all pink fabrics, including a pink furry fabric)Cut the largest circle out of the cupcake base fabric...continue cutting out circles for each of the frosting fabrics.
With needle and knotted thread, begin stitching around the perimeter of the base circle.
When the last stitch meets the first, pull the thread to gather the circle into itself (this is also how to make a yo-yo)
Just before you pull it all the way tight, stuff in a little poly-fill.This is what the top should look like...
See how sweet it will look in the cupcake liner?
Continue this same process (except without as much of the polyfill) for all of the circles of frosting fabrics.
When you're done with all the frosting fabrics, stack them together and sew straight through the center of each, including the base, a few times. Top with a bead and sew a jump ring to the top (if you want to make it into an ornament...omit if not)

it is, in fact, most definitely CUTE!!!!!
