Colorful Trinket Boxes
Make these little boxes for tiny gifts!

I found these wooden boxes in Michael's in the make-your-own holiday ornament section.
Paint the outside and inside with gesso to prime the box. The paint coverage will be so much better if you don't skip this step.


Paint the boxes bright colors, a different color inside than out.

When paint dries, add a threaded bead to the top. Pull a loop through the bead and use a bit of hot glue into the bead to keep the thread in place...

Then glue the bead to the top.

If you'd like, add a bit of decoration inside the top of the box. Also, you can paint the whole shebang with mod podge to finish.
