Layered Ornaments
Start by printing out this template. Roughly cut a rectangle around each shape.
Gather scrap paper and trim (like lace, rick rack, and ribbon)
On the reverse side of the printed shape, begin to layer strips of paper to each. Cover the paper.
Then add the trim pieces between each of the paper strips, as shown.
Glue everything in place.
When the glue is dry, turn over the paper and use the shape design as a guide for cutting out the ornament.
Flip it over...look how great!
Add a rectangle piece of paper to the top of each for the ornament crown, and there you go!
Great idea, I think I will use this idea to decorate my flaps. Skies the limit in what you can cut out.
