Fringe Flower Brooch

To make this pin, you'll need about 12" of fringe trim, two buttons which stack nicely, needle & thread, a pin back, and a bit of felt.
Begin by sewing along the edge of the fringe. After sewing about an inch, fold the fringe edge over to make a button hole like shape...
Sew the two edges together with a whip stitch.

Continue sewing layers in this manner.
After a few layers, you should have a puff like this.
Sew a button through the center...
Top that button with another button, sewing all the way through the puff ball.

To stabilize the wobbly bling button, I like to tie a bit of velvet ribbon between the two buttons. Pretty!
Next you'll sew the pin back to the bit of felt. Open the pin to make sewing this part easier.

Then sew the felt piece to the whole kit & kaboodle...sewing all the way through as much as possible to make the pin back sturdy. Oh, and close the pin for this part to make sewing easier.

Ta da!
