Paper Mermaid

Begin by printing out the collage details here. Cut out each piece and assemble like this...

Using bits from a streamer and paper adhesive, let's make a textural tail!
A little warning: This will get messy! Make a pool of glue and cut a bunch of pieces of your streamers.
Coat the streamer bits in the glue and scrunch them. Glue to the mermaid's tail...
Keep working until, layering and a following the outline of the fish tail, until you've covered the tail. Make the bits on the tail fin flatter. While the glue is still wet, sprinkle with glitter and shake off excess.

Using watered down paint, color in parts of the mermaid. I even added blue eyeshadow! You can also add a little embellishment for her head using the streamers and glue technique. Have fun!
